The town will host an Emergency Preparedness informational meeting at 7:00pm on February 1st at the Marlboro Elementary School. (In case of bad weather, same time and place on February 2d.)

The purpose is to present an overview of town emergency operations, discuss what residents should do to be prepared for a disaster, and share ideas and information on available resources. Everyone is welcome!

On the agenda:
- (brief) presentations on Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), the Marlboro Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC), town emergency operations, family preparedness, and the emergency preparedness register
- group discussions on volunteer organization, volunteer tasks, emergency communications, and neighborhood networks
