Located just off the Molly Stark Trail (Route 9) in southern Vermont, Marlboro is probably best known as the home of the small but excellent Marlboro College. The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum is also located here. In the summer, two special events are big draws: the Marlboro Music Festival, which was founded by Rudolf Serkin; and Civil War Days (July), Vermont's largest Civil War event.
