MARLBORO CARES (258-3030)

Marlboro Cares is a volunteer program to provide non-emergency assistance to Marlboro residents. The initial phase of Marlboro Cares is the establishment of a voice mail phone service.

Messages can be left by persons requesting assistance, such as someone needing a ride to an appointment, someone to pick up a prescription, or even someone needing a drop-in visitor or needing help with changing a light bulb.

Voice mail will be monitored once a day to listen for requests. Then volunteers will be contacted to provide the help. This free service will initially be funded by Marlboro’s Community Club. Additional services may be added in the future.

Anyone interested in volunteering can contact one of the current board members: Sally Andrews, Emily Kunreuther, Jill Hulme, Bruce Cole,
Barbara Cole, Lucy Gratwick.
