Minutes of the Meeting

December 8, 2005

Present: Callie Newton, Dave Matt, Gail MacArthur, Sally Andrews

The meeting was called to order at 6:30.

Orders for payment were approved and signed.

Minutes of November 21 were accepted with changes. Minutes of November 30 were approved.

Gail reported on discussions with Shelby Fernette regarding their septic issue.

Agreed to allow the Housing and Rehabilitation Committee to use the Marlboro tax identification number and to re-authorize Linda to become signatory on the Committeeπs fund accounts.

Agreed to reimburse the Land Trust for the cost of a title search on the Quinlan Solan land on Augur Hole Road.

Approved a driveway permit for Keely Eastley, Nate Harvey.

Sally will check with Linda and Dave Elliott regarding road budget discussions for the next meeting, December 22. General budget discussions are tentatively planned for January 12.

Gail reported she has not been able to reach Taylor Mickle regarding problems with the Town Website.

Callie moved and it was agreed that we accept Noraπs offer to act as Septic and Health Officer until those positions are filled. Gail will contact Edie Mas regarding applications for Zoning Administrator, and whether any individual might be interested in all three vacant positions.

Received a letter from Adam Gebb requesting a letter of support for their project to conserve 140 acres. Agreed to write, and jointly composed a letter of support. Sally will send it.

Agreed to give Christmas bonuses to the Road Crew. Callie will contact Linda.

Agreed that funding for Marlboro Cares requires a separately warned item with petition for the Town Report.
