I'm looking for someone to care for my cat at their home for two months this summer, July and Aug 2011.

She's an indoor animal: friendly, vocal, and very soft. Compensation is negotiable. You can reach me at my regular email, mahoney@marlboro.edu.

Thanks,

Marlboro today; things I've heard, things I remember, things I wonder.

The Marlboro Vermont I remember goes from the early 80's to mid 90's. From the pictures I see, and things I read, it seems that this beautiful town has stayed just as perfect from when I was a resident.

I grew up living in a beautiful yellow farm house down on Lower Dover road. I must say, the 100 acres, abundant fruit trees, and flowing water in the back was a wonderful place to be as a child. I often wonder what happened to that home. The last two Years there, My mother and I lived at the Whitney Farm. Saturday breakfasts at the Skyline Restaraunt were a treat, and swimming at the Davidsons pond was a summer tradition.

Marlboro Elementary Alumni: post your memories

Hello current and former Marlboro residents!!

I must say, this little website gives me memories of my hometown. I graduated Marlboro Elementary school in 1991, back when Mr. Edelstein was the Junior High teacher. Are there any other alumni that use this forum, that were there back then? If not, that is fine, I just ask for you to share a fond memory of your time at Marlboro Elementary school.

There are so many great memories I have of this wonderful school. One that stands out very vividly is the annual Christmas Concert. Every year I would stand with my classmates, singing to the tune of Mrs. Morris' guitar or piano. At the end of the concert, all former classmates would come down and sing togethor. The feeling of community and warmth on that night, was one that I will never lose. It is my goal to move my family back to Vermont, and get on that stage once again; to see my daughter on that stage.

Thank You!

I just wanted to say thank you. You never know what will happen when you put a web site like this together. As just one wonderful example ---

Today while looking up some information about Marlboro I surfed over to your web site. Here on your pages, was a treasure for my family and I - a picture of my father, Oscar Stone, taken the day before he died! He had attended the Historical Society's Ice Cream Social and by many accounts had a wonderful time. Here on your pages was the photographic proof!

My dad always referred to his home in Marlboro as his little slice of heaven and I know all of you there made this possible for him.

been missing marlboro

how wonderful to feel somehow reconnected to marlboro again. I grew up on the auger hole branch in the 60's I lived as a fosterchild with Mary Nutting the schoolbus driver. I am sure there are a few of you that might remember her. One of the most influencial people in my life has been Mr. Bruce Cole. He made a big difference in my life Oh how much I have missed those days
